The upstairs garage had a number of different lives besides the perennial storage of storm windows. When the Schmitts moved in in 1956, remnants of its days as a pigeon coop were obvious; (we'll spare you the details). When we moved out in 2006, we left a bit of chicken wire for future archeologists.
During the 1960's and 1970s, the teenagers would entertain their friends up there.
