Ettal Abbey, Bavaria, Germany -- ...its companion tower on the north.The Swiss Henrico Zucalli was the court architect in Munich and is best known for bringing the Italian baroque into Bavaria. We saw more of his work at the end of our trip at the Nymphenburg Palace in Munich.
