Yosemite National Park, California 2008 -- The trail then pauses at the top of the falls; at right is the Emerald Pool (which really is green if you get away from it, but here it's the Foamy Pool). Many stop here to dry out in the sun. We found about 20 people here in a space of about 50 square yards -- not really crowded at all for the first full week of June 2008.
