The house in the foreground was built by the Denskis. The husband ran a profitable metal recycling business while the wife constantly remodeled and refurnished the house, once changing out all of the living room furniture because she wanted oak furniture instead of walnut or vice versa. (This was strange behavior for the inhabitants of 31211 who had a living room with green spray-painted piano and picnic table. (I am not making this up). The Denski's had two of their own kids and adopted an Asian girl about the same age as their daughter Laurie (now Laurie Denski-Snyman). |
